wALTER (rIGHT)

austrian born.  plays guitar / bass / ZITHER AND LEAD  vocalS / yodEling.  composer and songwriter from  rock&roll to jazz. recorded two albums in germany  before moving to the us in the 70'S.  WALTER HAD GREAT  SUCCESS IN  CO with the "wishbone band" UNTIL ITS BREAKUP  IN  1988.  WALTER founded the aUSTRIAN CONNECTION IN  1989. after  some  changes over the years this is the best  aUSTRIAN  CONNECTION YET!

DORIS .....

born iN philadelphia to german parents, she NATURALLY  grEw up BEING INFLUENCED BY GERMAN MUSIC. DORIS studied  the aCCORdIOn for 6 years  and won several competitions  i n the state.  SHE LATER discovered  the "steirische" - the  austrian  button box -  with its very  unique sound and  appearAnce. DORIS AND HER "STEIRISCHE" give us A special  touch when we  perforM.

JULIE .....

guitar / vocals.  JULIE'S A GREAT ADDITION TO OUR GROUP  PLAYING THE GUITAR AND HAVING A BEAUTIFUL VOICE.  JULIE HAS  A GREAT REPERTOIRE - RANGING FROM BRENDA LEE - ROCK AND  ROLL - TO EDELWEISS. JULIE'S VOCAL HARMONIES ADD ANOTHER  DIMENSION TO OUR GREAT SOUND.

DEON .....

DEON ADDS A NEW DIMENSION TO OUR SOUND WITH THE VERSATILITY AND DYNAMICS OF HIS DRUMMING AND PERCUSSION STYLE,  WHICH RANGES FROM ROCK TO JAZZ  TO LATIN AND EVERYTHING IN  BETWEEN! HIS DRUM SOLOS  OFTEN GET STANDING OVATIONS AND WILL  DEFINITELY GET AUDIENCES ON THEIR FEET!
